Being unable to get Vietnam out of her head Carrie decided to relocate to Vietnam to be with the children in September 2007.
During this time Carrie continued to work for Global Volunteer Network and for the local
hospital for the disabled children. Carrie became more proactive in providing better nutrition via an extra food fund,
cooking meals and taking the children to the centres distributing daily multivitamins, fruit and milk. This also provided better access to healthcare, English classes
and learning programs.
Other progress through the year included building new bathrooms and an outside shelter at The Home of Affection.
